he probably just won't "give in" because his life is 900 miles away from where you want it to be. if you want to be with him so badly, why don't you move.

Well, your answer is right there. It's 900 miles away. I'm sure he enjoys talking to you and everything, but someone can't just pack up and move 900 miles away to someone they only talk to. If your willing to wait for him to make up his mind and he does move, then it IS definitly worth it. He probably actually really wants to move, but like i said, it's 900 miles. Give it time, if he doesn't like you in the end, it probably wouldn't have worked out if he did move to your house. But I have faith, if you can keep conversation with this guu morning, noon, and night and have this kind of talking(which talking is the most important thing), then maybe it will work out.

Try to be patient, all good things take time !
If he said he would move here then he probably will. Moving isn't an easy thing to do, especially when you have a long ways to move.
He needs to get a job and find a place to live etc.
Good Luck and have a HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Speed it up, he'll feel rushed, pressured and leave. Try to come up with a general timeframe you can both agree on. There's a difference between financial problems, and noncommitment. Be wary of the later.

If your strategy is to work him over till he "gives in" then maybe that's the problem. Perhaps you need to give him some space, and show him you respect his right to make his own decisions. A lot of guys don't fancy spending their lives with someone who will pressure them constantly to get what they want.
If you're really keen to be with him in person, why don't you go visit him?

no one should just rush into anything without first being absolutely sure of what it is you are doing.
let's face it a 900 mile move is a life altering move.
if you are in such a hurry, why don't you make the move there.

Talk to him. Tell him this. but don't expect him to give up his life just for a girlfriend. Consider very carfully if you want this guy in your life for the rest of your life. It would suck to have him living with you and then having him have to leave

It sounds like you have a great guy! Don't blow things by rushing him! Remember the phrase "Good things come to those who wait...." Good luck!
