I see this every place I travel. Rich nations and very poor ones. So many young girls have a child to keep the boy tied to them and most of the time they do eventually leave.
In many nations as soon as the boy knows she is pregnant he is gone. Don't mothers talk to their daughters about these things.

Even if the women who do do this action had anyone tell them it wouldn't work, they would do it anyway. If there is anything I have learned in my 26 years on this earth, it is that people don't listen an always end up doing what they want to do in the end. The females who do this know that it's not going to work but they're so desperate they'll try anything. They may also be thinking, "well, even if he does leave at least I'll have a piece of him forever." Who knows, they may be like, whatever, he may leave tomorrow, but he'll have to see his kid eventually, and that's when I'll get him back. I'll lose weight for when he shows up and I'll change and then when he comes to his kids 5 year birthday party, he'll be mine. And then he shows up with his new wife and two other children.
Women are the worst liars and they lie to themselves worse than any man in the world could ever think to. Don't get me wrong, men lie to themselves all the time, but it's stuff like the Packers can beat the Bears. For women, it's like Oh, that woman is just a friend, he's not cheating on me.
To those who say it takes two to make a baby, I think the questioner is talking about the crazy chics who do stuff like poke holes in condoms or say, "Yeah, I've been taking my birth control.

ya but talk is cheap, and "love" sucks. Alot of girls out there are nieve and think that if they get pregnant that it will keep a guy around. But in a way, it really does. that guy has to pay child support. But usually the relationship between the two sucks. It is not worth it, unless you know what you are getting into. There is only so much talking a mom can give her daughter. Doesn't a father give a pep talk to the son about using protection? It really works both ways.

Some girls don't have the woman in there life to tell them that this is a big mistake.They feel that if they have a baby then they'll always have someone who'll love them which is too,but they don't understand how hard it is to raise a child.I was one of those children.My mother never taught me about those things and I was young and felt I had no one to love me.But unlike most girls, my boyfriend stuck beside me and we now have a 2 year old son and I am getting married in the summer.So not all girls are like this

Girls don't get pregnant by themselves. Don't fathers talk to their sons about how to prevent these things? There are so many birth control options out there now that there should never be an unwanted child in this world.

I think it runs in generations.. poor education... of couse if a mother has done the same as her child then I think the mother has not done her job. If a young person is smart and educated they wouldn't get into that mess of chidlren without marriage. Again who is to blame for not teaching. It upsets me because I am paying for their free care.

You can talk until you are blue in the face. It starts from day one you have to set a good example for your children from day one. Most young girls make those mistakes because they are looking for love, love that is missing from a poor upbringing!

It is foolish... but sometimes people who are infatuated or in love do stupid things. I'm sure that their Mothers have probably advised many of them but you know how teenagers and young people are... they know everything. And they're the first to have ever experienced what their experiencing. :o) In their minds.
