It's the cat food it's eating, they seem to always have a fishy breath.

It could be bad teeth. I suggest that you take your cat to the vet. If it's not bad teeth, it may be that kitty needs her teeth cleaned. Cats need their teeth brushed, too, so cats should get their teeth cleaned at the vet once a year. make sure kiity can handle anethstesia before doing this, though. Also, you can brush your cats teeth yourself with special toothpaste and toothbrushes just for kitty.

i have a cat whose breath smells like she has been eating the kitty litter. i think it has to do with the food they eat. I'm not sure, but there is kitty mouth wash that you can get. We got some stuff from PetCo that you put in their water bowl that is supposed to make their breath better. try that.

Might be losing teeth, that can make them have a old blood smell. Something can be stuck in the teeth or on the roof of the mouth. Something it is eating?? If it continues...see a vet.

Feline Leukemia
Edit: Leukemia is worst-case scenario, didn't mean to scare you. More likely, it probably is what others have said - fishy-smelling food (especially if you feed it wet canned food), bad teeth, gum disease, and playing or eating it's own waste. If it persists, have your vet give a complete physical, and blood tests.

This is generally a symptom of severe earmites. You should take the kitten to the vets for a thourough check up as soon as possible.
