No, Saddam would not convert to Christianity since he's not interested in it. Even though he caused violence and suffering, I *think* the fate for Muslim males would be similiar in the afterlife, wether they did good or bad in life.

Dear Old,
I am a Christian and I have been praying for him since before September 2002. I am praying even now that he will accept Jesus Christ as his LORD and Savior.
ALL have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Nobody, absolutely nobody deserves anything other than eternal punishment but I know that the awesome uncreated Creator of the universe does not want anyone to be eternally separated from him.

If you ask Jesus into your heart, accept that he died on the cross for you and me, and truly mean this in your heart, Then yes, Saddam would go to heaven and all would be well.

With God, *ALL* things are possible. Do *I* believe that Saddam will turn away from islam and accept the love and mercy of the one true God, and salvation thru His Son, Jesus? Not for me to speculate...but (regardless of the rest of your "question") the destination of his soul is between God and him. *IF* Saddam's heart truly repents for his physical and spiritual crimes, then YES I would be happy for him.

I sincerely doubt if Saddam will make it to heaven, as the possibility of his conversion to Christianity is very remote. Even if Jesus forgives him, which is unlikely--even as forgiving as he is--Saddam will have to do a lot of restitution to ever earn his wings. Maybe when hell freezes over......

It is possible, but unlikely based on his past behavior. If he is there, he is welcome like the rest, even though that is hard to believe. I cannot see him feeling the need for the God of the bible. Like many atheists, and nonbelievers, he is make believe. Unfortunate, as the death of Jesus could cover even his sins.

Miracles do happen. If God forgave me, who am I to hold a grudge against Saddam (or anyone else).
Having said that, I won't be surprised if I don't see him in heaven.

God can move any heart to conversion if it brings him glory. That being said, Saddam would have to cooperate with that grace.
