what is the best shampoo to use for normal hair?

It is recommended that you switch brands often. Otherwise, how much do you want to spend? It is what you do after you shampoo that results in good or bad hair. i.e. blow drying, brushing, perming, etc, etc.

I agree that switching shampoo's up is a good idea. If I use one shampoo for a long period, my hair becomes blah. I like Herbal Essence, Sunsilk, and then for good measure I use Neutrogena Residue Removal once a week. Also, stick to clear shampoo's. Thick, creamy shampoos leave build-up in your hair.

Aussie shampoos and conditioners are amazing. They have quite a few different types and do a really good one for colored hair (if you do dye your hair). If your hair is really dry too you should use their 3 minute miracle. It was a life saver for me!

aussie, baby, they are the best. their 'aussie moist (or wutever, its in the white bottle)' makes your hair UNBELEIVABLY SOFT. like i sat their trying to wash out the conditer for 10 min because it felt to soft, but it was already gone! and their shampoo, like, you can feel it cleaning, like, it tingles or something
