Sorry but you have to be 18 to enter into a legal binding contract. You can buy "prepaid" credit cards at your local grocery or Sams Club. You can use these at any place that accept major credit cards and you can add $$ to the card. It looks and acts just like a regular credit card but without the monthly bill. A great idea for a teenager. Doesn't build your credit however.

A 15 year old should be getting a savings account...not a credit card.

I think that a minor may be able to have a credit card in his/her name only if a parent or guardian co-signs and is responsible for the debt. My best advice is to stay away from credit cards and get a checking or a savings account instead.

The last one I applied for the contract said you have to be 18 and earn at least $15,000.
