cousins wedding? Especially when I was pregnant at the time and they had the bridal shower on my due date. The weddind took place in August, Bridal shower in may? Anyway there's more by now they are about to have a baby and some family memebers on my boyfriends' side think I shouldn't be upset. I've known both of them since middle school and bbf with the groom's little sis(my baby's cousin).

Huh? That's just too much to decipher. Whatever the situation with these quasi in-laws...get over it. You have a child now and have to exhibit mature thought patterns and behavior. Don't worry about shower dates and babies being born. Let them do whatever they want and don't concern yourself with what his family members say or think. Sounds like a lot of gossiping and backstabbing may be going on. Limit your time around these people and don't share your personal business with them.

don't take it so hard on them. you have a lot of things on your own to concern. if you knew them for a long time then the only reason i can think of why they didn't invite you is because they didn't want to bother you with their thing.

planning and having a wedding can be a real pain in the *** and it's the same thing with bridal shower. especially when it's happening in the same time with your due date. how can you expect them to expect you to be there with them when they know that you are in your due time.

if you see from their point of view, i am sure you will understand their decision not to invite you. not because they didn't want you to be there but because they think aboout your well being. and for that i think it's totally wrong for you to be upset over that. you should be grateful that they still think about you in such occasion like that.

I can see why you are upset, but what happened, happened and life does go on. Tell the in law family how it hurt you, then let it go. There will be other opportunities to get your revenge.

Of course not, but if they were on the same day I could see why you would be. Don't be mad at him, family brings people in for alot of stuff in weird times. Maybe he had no choice, who knows. Hope you have fun with the kid. =P
