Yes my husband and I have been married 27 years and he has a female friend and they have known each other 25. She is also happily married. They worked together (her husband also worked there) we do not necessarily socialize together but we all get together on occassion and they make sure they keep in contact.

Why not? Some people call it a platonic relationship. I just call it friendship. I think it can be awkward for some people since there is a significant other that might perceive that friendship as something else though. In that case, that friend can be a mutual friend of the couple.

Almost all of my friends are female and I have a girlfriend. I don't look at my female friends the same way as I do my girlfriend. They are 2 totally different things. I love my girlfriend in another way than them. They are more like sisters than anything else. Although I have had some of them like me before, it still didn't put a dent in our relationship. They can like me all they want, I still love my girlfriend.

Yes, of course. My best friend in this world is a beautiful woman, and I wouldn't dream of ruining that with something fleeting like sex!

It has never worked for me, ever.
It's always one liking the other more than they like them.
But I'm not going to take out the possibility of it working.
Because while they worked, they have always been great.
