My fiance and I are ttc. my period was supposed to start on the 24th but so far nothing. I ovulated on the 10th and we had unprotected sex on the 9th. I have noticed that my nipples are darker than normal and the skin around them has little bumps on them. I have been more tired than normal as well. I took an HPT last night and this morning and both were negative. what could be going on?

You could be wanting a baby so badly that your mind is causing your body to react. You need to just settle down and let it happen. Couples trying to get pregnant usually take up to a year so if the home test says no then move on and try again.

If you are serious about might being pregnant it is possible that people can psych themselves into thinking they are pregnant. I have done it before, I was so scared to take a test and I kept obsessing about it that more and more symptoms were happening. If you really want to know the absolute test is to have a blood test.

I think that you should go to your doctor or a clinic to have a blood test done to be sure. It could just be nerves/stress or you may be pregnant but you need to know for sure one way or the other!
