Saddam was not a true Muslim. He would fake it when he needed to. He killed many or the Muslim leaders of each party when ever he felt they were gaining to much power or when he felt they might be a threat to him.

It's so medeival. I am not a favor of capital punsihment anyway, but they seriously could have found a better way to do it. A more humane way. Two wrongs don't make a right.
