Probably the same things He liked in the Pharisees, Sadduccees, doctors, lawyers, tax collectors (Matthew) and publicans.
Every man will give an account for himself. The Republicans do hold up for the sanctity of life, Christian values, liberty and justice for all just not at the expense of others, He was not for unions as he told the soldiers to be content with their wages.
He ate with the publicans and sinners. Told them how the cow ate the cabbage if you will. Zacheus had cheated people in his government work but upon meeting Jesus gave back 4 times the amounts he had cheated from folks to make restitution. Matthew was a poll-tax collector for the Romans which the Jews hated this imposition. Jesus cleverly avoided the trap of being a political leader or an earthy kingdom by saying render what's due to the government and render what's due to God. He didn't say what was due the government though but if the laws do not go against our morality, we are to obey the laws of the land.

When Jesus was on the earth, he steered clear of politics.
He did say, "Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's."
Jesus is neither Republican nor Democrat.

Jesus came to earth as the King of Israel, but avoided politics. He had no interest in it. He couldn't care less which party you support, it's the issues and decisions that matter.

Jesus would like the Republicans just like he likes the Democrats, and the Independents, just as he likes the terrorists. Wait, he loves them, he loves us all with a unconditional love to us all.
