it would tell me that she is interested in getting to know you and probably was waiting for you to make a move, but chose to do it instead of waiting on you. accept the invitation, then decide from there what the next step is

Be flattered, it means she wants to get to know you better, and if you have a cup of coffee, and a nice conversation, maybe you will ask her out, but if the coffee thing does not go well, no body gets hurt feelings, (because it's not an official date). She probably left the invitation by note, so that if you are not interested, you don't have to say no in person. If you are interested, just ask her when she can go, if you are not, just ignore the note, pretend you did not reciece it.

Being a female, I would ask a guy for coffee if I was attracted to him, maybe to see if he was attracted to me, to learn more about him. I think the note means this girl is a bit shy, but I think it is awesome she asked you out for coffee. I say go & see what she is like. What is the worst that could happen?

I would see it as a friendly reaching out and wanting to have coffee with me. I would reserve and other thoughts until after the coffee.
Sometimes it is best just to wait and see rather than to read too much into something or worry over it.

I'd think she want to have a girly chat with me!
Now if a guy left me a note asking to go out for coffee, then I'd think he must like me!

A few possible answers:
1.Make sure it's not your friends playing a joke.
2. Now..find the other note that invites you to her room.
3. Send her a note back saying, 'only if she is buying'.

If it's Starbucks, then she wants to know you more.
If it's Dunkin Donuts, then she's thirsty.
Just kidding on the last one! She wants to know you more. Spend at LEAST an hour in the coffee shop and see where things go from there.

i wouldnt think anything other than, great lets do it!
i mean duh she prolly wants to get to know you better... not exactly meaning she likes you ( she could just want to be friends...)
if you were freaked out by it... you shouldnt be...its not like she sent you a love note with a big teddybear...now THATS freaky... because its not implying anything, unless shes an obvious flirt when you are together...
and would you really pass up a chance to have coffee with someone and possibly make a new best friend or gf?

I'd go get coffee with her, as long as she had a good personality and was pretty. Unless it's a casual thing, then in that case I'd go, just as a friend.
