Instead of schools competing for students the students should have to compete for a place in schools.
We have so many students who don't want to be in school, refuse to work, and disrupt learning for everyone else that we need to adopt a system like ones that other countries have where students who are behavior problems or don't do the work don't get to attend school and are assigned a job.
This will free up the schools to educate those who want to learn and improve education all around.

There should be no school system at as we know it. It is the responsibility of the parents and the private sector to educate their children. Most people really are too stupid to know how things are supposed to function, however, and they depend upon the school to babysit their kids and educate them, even though is pretty inferior.

Yes, they should. And to a certain extent they do (private schools).
Unfortunately the public schools don't have to compete with each other, so there isn't much incentive for them to improve. They just get crappier and crappier.

Absolutely. It's about time our school system tried to do something right! Our system is completely flawed. I say let the competition begin!

No because then there wouldn't be any students in the bad school anymore. Then there won't be any competition. And you spelled "Then" wrong, it's actually "Than", so you're probably enrolled in a bad school :) jk :D
