The gold jewelry offered on AmuletJewel.com site is either solid 18 or solid 23 Karat in purity, which contain 75% and 96.5% gold content respectively.

The jewelry made from 18 or 23 karat gold is soft, but will not be easily damaged or bend. Jewelry of these fineness are marked "18k and 23k" or "750 and 965," meaning 75 and 96.5 percent gold, which is alloyed with other metals to make it strong enough to withstand every-day wear while the color of 18k and 23k still look much more like the color of pure gold than that of below 18k. 18k and 23k are much softer and more susceptible to wear than that of below 18k. Our Thai amulet pendants are a variety of prices. The prices depend on a number of things. The age of the Buddha amulet, the fame of the Thai Buddhist monk who made the amulet, the history of the people who have worn the same Buddha amulet in both peace and battle, all enter into the pricing. These are things are understood by Thai people but hard to explain to people of other cultures.

Buying a Buddha amulet is a personal thing. Don't shop by price. Choose an amulet by your personal feeling toward the amulet. Let your heart be the judge. Buying a Buddha amulet thinking that because it is more expensive it is better is not necessarily correct.
