Very nasty intestinal bug characterized by huge, explosive diarrhea and very nasty smell.

Keep it off her skin as soon as possible, it's so acidic it can literally burn her.

Poor lamb, hope she's better soon. Wash your hands frequently it's contagious and you don't build immunity to it by exposure.

Rota virus is a virus which causes acute watery diarrhea, especially in children less than 5 years old. The first attack is always the most severe, and it can lead to severe dehydration. Continue giving Pedialyte and keep her hydrated. Give breast feed if possible. Apply petroleum jelly on the diaper area with every nappy change. Wash your hands thoroughly after cleaning her. The attack usually lasts for about 5 days. Good luck!

Rotavirus is common in small children and causes diarrhea, which causes dehydration.
That can be quite dangerous for children, so you want to make sure that toilet flushing handles, sinks, doorknobs, telephones, etc are sprayed or wiped with a disinfectant at LEAST once a week. :-)

Here is a website for information:

EDIT:: Pedialyte is very good for a child with rotavirus or any diarrhea. Here is a website for Pedialyte:
