He has plenty of toys to play with, but he loves to go to his litter box and play all around the apartment.

I keep it clean, but he wants to play with it as soon as he finishes. Since I work during the day, there is no way for me to clean it as soon as he uses it!!

Get an electronic self cleaning litter box they usually clean up the cats mess within 5-10 minutes after doing his business. You might be able to change the setting to sooner but that may stop him.

what cat litter are you using. Must not absord ordor very well. Are you using enough litter. I have noticed with my cat, that 6 cups of litter is enough for her to hide her poop. I change my litter about 3 times a week. My cat will not use the litter box, if it smells to her. You have to keep the litter box clean. scoop out the poop everyday. Or your cat will play.

Keep it clean or punish him when he plays with them. Like spraying him with water.

they have self scooping litter boxes out there now you may need to invest in one.
