When he does it, gently but firmly tap him on the nose, or thump his ear, just hard enough to startle him, then gently push him away from you and ignore him for awhile. Do that every time he nips you and he'll eventually get the idea that you don't like that, and won't play with him when he does it.

Don't worry, he's just learning that he's a cat! All cats instinctively do this! I nearly hd a cat put down because I thought she was just mean. I couldn't do it, and I'm glad, she turned out to be a wonderful cat, even saved my life! REally!
The poor lil' thing just needs to learn what she's made of, how to attack, and the best thing you can do is PLAY with her! Let her chase the string, get her some catnip, attack something you're dangling in front of her, then making her chase it, so she satisfies the instinct she has and learns her strengths, and is satified. If she's really young, you said 2 months old, that's good, you could gether a friend. 2 cats are easier to raise than 1,if you can do it where you live. That way they could attack each other and love on you!
Thank you for caring enough to care for one of God's creatures. 2 are easier!

Are you saying that you've had the kitten since he was a week old? First off, why wasn't he weened? That is a crucial part of any animal's life. It lets them bond with mom, and introduces them to his/her siblings. Not to mention, playing with them and practicing stalking techniques that come instinctual to all cats. No wonder he bites!

If you have had him since a week old he may be trying to nurse off anything small enough to fit in his mouth if that isn't it then try tapping him on the nose and tell him firmly No, don't stop loving on him just let him know its not tolerated. You might call a vet and ask as well it won't cost anything to ask

When he goes to bite you, pop him on the nose and say NO! He'll eventually figure it out, but most importantly do not let him continue this behavior because when he gets older he could seriously hurt you.

mine does too. they do this to be playfull and affectionate. Not to hurt you, so don't worry. I've had my cat who is about 4 months old since he was a kitten and he still does that today.

That is how kittens play. It is nothing serious unless he continues to bite (hard. If he bites you softly he is warning you or it is a love bite)see someone
