every minute is the next phase of our lives...every second we are closer to our deaths...so why do we put such limits on ourselves in every day life?...i thought about this the other day...ive asked my 2 exes to have my children for a week in february...ive never asked them to do this before...and im going to go somewhere ive never been before and see some things and do some things ive never been before...dont know where yet...but im not bothered...life is too short people...i try and do something at least once a week that ive never done before...even little things count...whats life about if we dont breathe ???

i actually restrict myself very little...i do most things that i want to...but rarely ask for help for it...thats what ive never done before...ask my exes to help me achieve something by having my children.....more likely than not through pride...
i mean all the things we wish we could do every day...its only ourselves stopping us.....;0)

You go girl!
I think a lot of people have restrictions placed on them - or what *feel* like restrictions anyway (the most obvious being kids and/or lack of money). The every day humdrum of life is an easy, and familiar, pattern to get bogged down in......

Well done you!!!!!
Restriction is something we allow to happen to us. It is easy to blame others or circumstances...but we are our own keepers and we do have control over who we are and what we feel.
Start this life of yours now...and never let it go. No action completes anything...it only starts something.
You have awoken...slip back into sleep if you wish...but you have enough time to sleep after your life is over. Live!!
I wish you every good fortune.
P.S. Went travelling when I was younger and came across a muslim temple in Malaysia with a sign outside written in about 30 languages. Scanned down and found the english one. It said...No Bleeding Women!...I know this shouldn't be funny but it is. This is life!

I couldn't agree with you more! Life is way too short for such restrictions. That's why whenever I see a question here that goes along the lines of "Should I ask him/her out?", I always say "Go for it" because tomorrow may never come!

I thought the same thing the other week.
I decided that I should do something I have been wanting to do for years even though there are 101 reasons not to I still did it because I will not be able to do it once I am dead. (The actual thing was getting a downstairs piercing).
I hope you have a great time doing your adventure and that you continue to live this way.

I think you have been asking yourself 'why do I restrict myself so much'. and have decided to stop doing it..
Good on you, keep it up.
I don't restrict myself at all, life is for living.

People restrict themselves because life is short, they do not want it to be shorter.

I don't restrict myself.
And I completley agree that we have to live life at it's fullest.
As for everyone else, they restrict themselves because they are afraid of new things. Don't ask me why.

It sounds like you restrict yourself too much, but have woken up to it.
People in general do it out of fear.
Also, governments want them to do it - it makes them easier to control - which is why they promote things which keep people tied in one place - loans, mortgages, jobs, marriage, etc.
