I believe a lot of laws shouldn't exist. There are already way to many laws in this country. The court system is flooded. The prison systems are flooded. Do you know in California we have sent prisoners to other states because we don't have room for them anymore? It's really silly to me. We should eliminate many of the bogus laws we have and focus more on the real issues. What we don't need is to build more prisons just to hold all of the recreational drug users.

Why limit to medical use? Why not decriminalize marijuana in small amounts for personal use. And have it controlled like tobacco allotments and give the government tax revenues from it as well? Tobacco is as addictive as heroin and yet it is on the shelves of nearly every corner store. It has warning labels that it causes diseases that can kill. And yet it continues to be sold. That's because there is money to be made. And soon there would be no more money in illegally selling marijuana. So therefore crime rates would fall.

i actually would not do marijuana. I basically take an over-the-counter med for my arthritis. yet i don't think of smoking marijuana is any worse than a individual who beverages lots. And have faith me in this right here the place I stay lots of folk drink and stress, as a results of fact regionally we have not a difficulty for human beings to do. No theater, bowling alley or something. we've church and school activities. So each and all of the human beings do right that's occasion, and while they drink and stress, i think of it somewhat is worse. it somewhat is my opinion,

I don't beleive in legallizing it for medical purposes cause we have enough pain medications to take care of buisness. There's no need to make it legal and create the nightmare resulting. I don't think there should be jail time for small amounts, a hefty fine is better.

Absolutely. Jail doesnt help anyone or fix anything. There are other ways to resolve issues with minors and possession of marijuana.

If it is is for medical reasons, why should they be penalized? Were talking about a 85 year old dieing grandma hear. Should we throw her in jail to? Too many people just don't understand what "medical Marijuana" is.

If you are the person for whom the marijuana is prescribed, then it's not illegal to possess it even if you're a minor. If it's not your script, then it's illegal just as any other prescription drug in the possession of another person other than whom the script was for.

I suffer with pain every day and if it would help and were able to obtain it legally I would, I see no reason to arrest the non violent users, most of them are non violent good people anyway they do not harm anyone and should not bothered by the law

I think that is the way that recreational users are hoping to get it passed. They don't care about the person who would benefit medically, they are only hoping that will make it easier for them to use it recreationally. What drug should we legalize next? maybe meth? You know the United States has an obesity problem. these people could use it to lose weight!(Sarcasm)
