He is guilty of the same thing george w. bush, donald rumsfeld, and condoleza rice (and all of their supporters) are guilty of, only on a MUCH smaller scale.

They will hang Saddam tonight for causing the deaths of 148 people in retaliation for an assassination attempt on him a long time ago.

The invasion of Iraq, on the other hand, has caused the deaths of many hundreds of thousands of Iraqi citizens and many thousands of soldiers on all sides participating in this insanity.

And all of this was based on lies in the first place. There never were any WMD's that bush claimed there were, and never a connection to the terrorists like he also claimed.

Saddam's real crime?

He thumbed his nose at bush's daddy in the first gulf war.

And his country has a lot of oil, which is the real reason bush invaded in the first place.

Being in the wrong place at the wrong time, the government could care less about his "horrible crimes". Our government installed him in power and trained his republican guard, if they had wanted to put an end to his brutality against his own people they would have done so sooner, they just needed a scapegoat , and our old friend Saddam was just the ticket, arab, muslim, yep fits the bill pretty good. Go ahead and thumbs down me assholes, but if you think the Government of the United States of America aren't just as guilty of Murder as any other government in the world, you're living in a dream world, and The Almighty American Government DID install him in power and train his republican guard in addition to giving him money, small-arms weapons and ammunition, they probably even gave him the gas he used on his own people, it is a historical FACT and if you don't believe me I encourage you to look it up.

He killed his own people, him and his sons had torture chambers where they malicously punished little crimes, for example, when Olympic athletes would lose, they would torture them. He is basically Hitler of the Arab world.
