Have you tried shampoo? har. Really, you don't want to overwash because your body will overcompensate. Get a nice shampoo for oily hair (Paul Mitchell, tea tree oil) and skip the conditioner.

Greasy hair usually comes from oil build up on your scalp, or it can be partially from the shampoo and conditioners you are using and/or hair products you use.
To reduce build up do not use the same shampoo all the time, try alternating shampoos and conditioners for a cleaner feel and look. Also, it could also depend on the products and how much you are using, if you are putting too much on then it could cause your hair to weigh down and look oily and flat. If that is the case try using more controlled amounts of your hair products.
Another cause is your face. If you have a typically oily face then it can cause any hair that could come in contact with your facial area to become oily and sticky.

Try a combination of 1 part baking soda and 2 parts water. Use it like you would a shampoo, this should help in reducing the greasiness of your hair.

Your scalp puts out oil and when it over produces your hair gets really greasy. I found that a clarifiying shampoo works great when used a few times a week.

To choose a good shampoo helps. but need to keep your hair clean. You can massage your sculp with baking soda before shampoo.
Also, you need to avoid eating greasy food sach as frys and too much meat. That will also help!!

You can buy sprays that instantly dissolve grease in your hair. If your looking for around the house items, you can put some baby powder on a comb and swipe it through your hair for a qick fix.

There are certain shampoos that completely clean your hair and strip it of ALL of it's oils...My dad has oily hair and he uses this shampoo that's made by Pantene, and it's called "Clarity" I think...I used it once, and my hair wasn't even slightly oily for about 3 days.
