I seriously don't think that shaving causes hair to grow thicker. I shave regularly (started when I was 14), and I don't have sideburns (being 16, and letting it grow), and I don't know anyone who is 16 who does. Those who don't shave have that nasty "peach fuzz" crud going on. I hate it, and I've been told the ladies hate it too. I'd shave. Don't worry about it.

Over time you'll get them though.

try shaving every few days. i was almost face hareless when i was 18, now i enjoy full mutton chops and a richous gotee even dimebag-rip- would like.
also the same vitamins that keep your fingernails healthy might help. i think they are in the b's. sorry i couldn't be of more help.

Let your burns grow for several days.
