I ask this question because I feel there is a common misconception amongst blokes that women either don't like sex, or can't enjoy a laugh about things of a sexual nature. One example of this was when I asked earlier if it's acceptable to buy your girlfriend a poledancing kit - most blokes answered out-right negatively to this whereas most of the ladies answers were balanced but encouraged a little naughtiness. (see 'Is it acceptable to buy your girlfriend a…? pole dancing kit.' in 'Home > Family and Relationships > Singles and Dating' or use the link http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqLULcHkZgPtaOvyvQx1W72KBgx.?qid=20061229162020AA2VCiv if it works to see the answers I got)

So what do you reckon?

I used to think this when I was a bit younger. I used to think that girls were very prim and proper, and very difficult to get to know or 'break down.' However, as I have got older, and met more and more girls, I have found that this isn't the case. These days, I meet girls who are broad-minded, sexually liberated, sexually active, and are great fun to be with. Yes, girls who are a 'little bit naughtier' than I ever thought...and are all the better for it, just like a breath of fresh air.

It is quite a relief to find that girls are like this, and don't come with 'barriers.'

However, old-fashioned chivalry and gentlemanliness are still very strong. If a bloke doesn't know what a girl is like, he will probably look to be polite and inoffensive at the start, because he might be very interested, but not want to scare her off (girls in general don't like arrogance or rudeness, at least not straight away). He will lighten up a lot more, when he finds out exactly what her sense of humour is like. Then you may find 'humour of a sexual nature' (as you put it) being phased in to conversations.

I think for the most part women are a lot more open to discussing topics of a sexual nature than some men would believe, or like to believe.

Women can be filthy cows at times, much filthier than men.
