Don't take it. Dump it. For God's sake don't take it with booze.

Oblong pink tablet imprinted S on one side and 8667 on the other side is 800 mg Skelaxin (metaxalone), a muscle relaxant.

Metaxalone relaxes muscles possibly by affecting the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord). The exact mechanism of action of metaxalone is unknown. That's right, the FDA doesn't even know how the hell it works. Nonetheless, they approved it in 1962.

The most common side effects with metaxalone are drowsiness, dizziness, headache, nervousness, irritability, nausea, vomiting, and upset stomach. Less commonly, rash, anemia, low white blood cell count, and jaundice occur.

Generic Name: Metaxalone
Strength: 800 mg
Manufacturer: King Pharmaceuticals
Trade Name: Skelaxin
Type: Muscle Relaxant
Class: RX (Prescription)

It's a muscle relaxant but it won't make you sleepy. But it does give you diarrhea.

Good medicine, huh?

I doubt if even a Dr. can tell you. Maybe a pharmacist can.
