Did he do that without being asked by God?

if he was asked by God then it's unfair to kill an innicent man for the sins of others. Do you agree?

Mar 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup fromme:nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Jesus had a choice. Your Scripture proves it.

Yes, it is unfair. That is why it was a sacrifice. God the Father and God the Son (Jesus) are ONE in the same with the Holy Spirit. He was given to be the payment for the sins of others. Jesus is God in the flesh and in the FLESH, God of Heaven was and is His Father and ours. His will suggested from the spiritual realm that Jesus in the earthly realm suffered much physical pain and death on our behalfs. He was speaking as God but through His flesh asking if it were possible that another way be made, knowing that Gods will must be done. It shows that he suffered as we too suffer causing us to love and appreciate him that much more.

That is exactly the point, it isn't fair that Jesus had to be sacrificed, but it is are fault that He was. Had we remained holy beings we would have been able to be with God, but sin seperated us from Him. He cannot be around sin, He is a holy being. Because He loved man so much, He gave the perfect sacrifice to cover all sins, so that when we accept that sacrifice, claim ourselves as sinners who cannot make it without God, and dedicate our lives to loving and serving God, then our sin is gone, it is forgiven.

Jesus knew what He was sent to earth for. He did it for His Father, He gave all the credit to His Father. He was glorified by His Father and is up in heaven right now seated at the right hand of His Father.

Jesus and God are one in the same. Jesus is God made man. So your question is, did God ask himself if he wanted to be sacrificed for our sins.....

you answered your own question with the scripture. Jesus prayed to not have to die, but because He chose to follow the will of God, we were saved. Jesus could have had all the angels come to His rescue but He chose to die on the cross, to pay the price that we could not pay. Of course it is unfair, but that is mercy- we got what we did not deserve.

Jesus could've turned around. He calmed the seas, he rose people from the dead, he could've easily stopped everything. He had the choice, but he was willing to go through with the Father's plan.
