Tell her to go to a 'Natural health food store' or a herb shop,
and buy a small bottle of Colloidal Silver (powerful natural antibiotic) It is colorless and tasteless but 'very' powerful against
thrush.
She needs to 'swish' it in her mouth for about 5 mins every 2 hrs.
tell her to repeat this until the thrush is gone.
It works great, so go get some now!

Go to the store and get acidophillis tablets, take them and also rinse out the mouth with sugar free yogurt. Works like a charm. I've had thrush a few times and it sucks. The above combination was the only thing that worked for me. Remember it's contagious so nooo kissin'. ;)

Apply Gentian violet 0.5% in the mouth with a cotton swab 3 times a day. Nystatin drops and antifungal oral gel can also be used.

I make a tea of yellowroot and swish it around in my mouth. It's also wonderful for sore throats.
I used to take a prescription for this because I had to take so many antibiotics. My doctor told me to save the money and just
brush my teeth and tongue with buttermilk several times a day and swallow some of the buttermilk. Of course, it helps to rinse frequently with the buttermilk. It's the flora (bacteria) in the milk that helps. (The prescription I was using is called Niastatin - may not be the exact spelling.)
Anyway, it works for me,
