I think the real question you should ask yourself is how much of your life are you willing to spend waiting on someone to come around and feel how you feel. Life flies by fast enough without wasting any more time on him- live for you and what makes you happiest.

It depends on what ur waiting for and what type of person this guy is. If he ain't waiting and u both are young people then have ur fun. If he comes back then you guys get married. But i wouldn't tell anyone to wait if that man ain't put no ring on my finger! I would have my fun so I wouldn't have a change of heart during the wedding ceremony. I ain't saying have sex with everyone but have fun, cause he is trust me. Men won't to have their cake and eat it too. He wont' to hold the good girl and have his fun and do whatever he big enough to do, then come back to you when he done. Don't be that nieve. Have ur fun to while he is having his! Been there done that. be careful 2 cause i cant tell u not 2 go back it depends on the situation and on what type of guy he is....but a ring mite bring me back 2 a man nothin else could.

I know this nice little place in Chicago. Very romantic. Have you ever eaten by candlelight? I can just imagine looking into your eyes while the shadows dance on the walls. If your man is not willing to take you out and treat you like you should be treated, forget him. When you finally decide to stop waiting for the mope feel free to hit me up. I will send a car to get you.

Depends. Why have you been separated? If he is incarcerated, then no, you need to move on and find someone you can trust.
If he is in the military, then yes, I would wait on him.
If he's going to school in another city or state then I would think you both should date other people until he returns.
But again, it depends on why he asked you to wait and how old you are.

No way! Don't even be with a guy who wants you to wait THAT long. He sounds too ambivalent. When you know what you want, you know what you want. He doesn't, so he is a fool. A woman has no time to be dating fools, especially ones that want them to wait that long.

Need more info, please. You say you've been "separated" for a year, what does that mean, did you break up, is he away at school, in the military, what? What are you supposed to be waiting for, and for how much longer?
