No - it would make no difference.
The British people do not make decisions on emotional claptrap like this.
Prince Harry joined the Marines by choice. His Uncle, Prince Andrew, served in the Falklands. His Grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, fought with the allies during WW2.
There is a long history of members of the ritish Royal family serving in the military.
If, God forbid, Prince Harry should be killed or injured, it would not make one jot of difference to the way we viewed President Bush or the war on terror.
The British people are not so emotional to be influenced by such things.
PS to Johnboy - if you really think the British envy you - I can only assume you have never visited Britain. We have no reason to be envious of America or any other country.

This war started BEFORE Prince Harry chose to involve himself in the military. Why would his death be pinned on President Bush?
Also, there are many people who already hate the U.S. President.
Britain will pull out of Iraq when they feel their need there has been fulfilled (support troops, etc.).

The British made their own decision to place troops in Iraq. If Harry goes there and gets killed it is the British government's fault.

That's funny, Prince Harry won't be going to Iraq! Why would they send the heir to their throne to war? He'll have a comfy seat somewhere nice!

Oh probably but why are you thinking this way? I mean you are having him killed in war before he even got there- not cool. Besides I'm sure that he would be in a place where he'd be pretty safe.
