rice in squid ( obento )

You will need ....

* 1 big squid
* 1 cup of cooked rice
* oyster sauce ( 2 tbsp.)
* onion ( half , diced )
* salt and pepper
* butter
* olive oil ( regular cooking oil is ok too )

Here's how....

1. Wash the squid thoroughly, remove the innards . set aside the the arms ...( don't know what its called, sorry )

2. Pat dry, set aside. Slice the feet or arms into very small pieces.

3. In a skillet, heat a small amount of oil. Saute the onions and the squid. When cooked, add the rice.

4. Pour the oyster sauce. Salt and pepper to taste . Set aside to cool.

5. Squeeze the fried rice inside the squid. Don't overfill . Close the opening with a toothpick.

6. In a clean skillet , put enough butter and cook the squid. Turn the squid so all sides will be evenly cooked. Drizzle salt and pepper.

7. Slice and serve .

Pizza bagle? Usualy hits the spot for me. :)
Simple to make and you don't even need an oven! Just use the little toaster oven.
Or pasta. Might I suggest orzo? It's AMAZING with the right amount of butter and salt.

Sounds tasty, yet you will have fared extra constructive nutritionally with a salad or veggie particularly of the cottage cheese, which made the meal protein-heavy. The pineapple would have been stable on my own, or with the fowl... Cheesecake sounds stable, yet too prosperous for me...oh..and did you have espresso? Please say there replaced into espresso for the dessert! i'd supply you some 7...yet once you cooked it FOR ME, some sixteen!

Escarole and Fennel Salad with Pears and Gruyère:

Escarole has a pleasant bitterness and sturdy leaves that can withstand being tossed in dressing and still look appealing when passed around the table. If you can't find almond oil, try hazelnut or walnut oil. Sprinkle with black pepper, if desired.

3 tablespoons sherry vinegar or cider vinegar
1 tablespoon almond oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
6 cups torn escarole (about 1 head)
4 cups thinly sliced fennel bulb (about 1 medium bulb)
3 Bartlett or Anjou pears, cored and thinly sliced
1/4 cup (1 ounce) finely shredded Gruyère cheese

Combine first 4 ingredients, stirring with a whisk.

Combine escarole and fennel in a large bowl. Add pears, and toss gently to combine. Drizzle dressing over salad; toss gently to coat. Top with shredded cheese.

Yield: 6 servings (serving size: about 1 2/3 cups)

Potato salad.
Boil potatos in a pot at medium fire for about 20 minutes.
Cut the potatos thinly sliced.
Add canola oil, mix it.
Add salt, mix it.
Add lemon juice, mix it.
You'll love it!

Pastas?
you can make spagetti, stir-fry with vegetables, or italian pasta with olive oil.
And have salad as side or bread with cheese on top
Hope that help your questions!
