All 3 of our cats eat the hairball control food mixed with regular cat food. Only 1 of our cats has a bad hairball problem

Yes. I give all 4 of my cats hairball control when only 1 has the problem. It's fine.

of course you can. Hairball control food just contains a mild laxative so they can pass the hair more easily. But it won't cause any problems for cats who don't get hairballs very often. I have two cats, one gets hairballs a lot, and one has never had one, and i feed them both hairball control. Nothing bad has ever happened (no diarrhea).

Sure, I do all the time. I use diet hairball Iams. One cat doesn't need to be on a diet, the other does. He also has the most hairballs but all cats have hairballs sooner or later.

Yes it's fine. It can't hurt the one who doesn't have a problem, and may even prevent it from getting hairballs.

absolutely, it just has some additives to help the cat control hairballs, its perfectly safe for the other cat.
