A friend of mine had a strange reaction on her lips that wasn't herpes. Although the symptoms are a little different than yours, it was diagnosed as an allergy to almond oil. This can be found in a bunch of things, like certain lip balms. So I would suggest making an appointment to see your doctor and they can determine if you should be tested for allergies or refer you to a dermatologist. Good luck!

Hi:

I also think it may be a herpes type virus. I have it once in a while, and I think when I get stressed, it comes back. You might try to get some StressTab type vitamins that are filled with many B vitamins. I use Burt's Beeswax balm, and it feels the best then, and all of the time. Don't use Carmex or any lip balm using camphor because that's like a catch-22 - the camphor will cause your lips to chap if used regularly (at least that's what I've heard).

If it persists, you may want to check with a dermatologist. Hope this helps.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about five years back, whilst I was still in college and had a foolish one-night stand. I realize lots of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date guys again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl that has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/MIaHN everything got better.

Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the herpes virus from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I'm so lucky to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This system gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

Dude, if it were a cold sore it would HURT. It's a big hurty blister. I mean if it's allergic an antihistamine like Benadryl might help, but I would not take anything without being more sure. If it gets worse or stays the same-go to a doctor. If it gets better-you're cured.

I'd go to a doctor. It could be herpes, they can take a test. Do not kiss anyone, especially babies.

Years ago, my lips were sunburned. They ended up with bumps. But I think you should go to the doctor.

Sounds like you have a cold sore. Go to your local drug store and buy abreva.
