Saw this at a local store and I'm thinking about picking one up. Anyone have any experience or knowledge about it? Is it any good? Thanks!

It's made by Norinco. That's the Army of the People's Republic of China. Yes, their army actually produces weapons for the world market to support itself. That said, Norinco actually produces some great stuff, and this one is one of them. Lots of folks refuse to buy Norinco anymore so they renamed their company "Interstate Arms" to get around that bias.

This little gun isn't the best finished thing you'll find. No Norinco product ever is. But it works well for its intended purpose. It's a great home defense weapon, it's 100% reliable, and like all their other weapons, they'll outlast the user by decades.

Their weapons are actually better made, finished, and safer than the real thing in most cases.

Norinco also produces a lever action shotgun, a near perfect copy of a Winchester trench gun etc. Needless to say, they're extremely popular among the historic recreation folks.

I am a gun dealer in montana and the person below is right if you spend the money a stoeger is a great gun and a coach gun no matter who makes it is tons of fun, not the best for hunting, but fun to shot and great for home defense. Just dont spend over $500, that would be a rip off.

If you're going to spend that much money on a coach gun, have a look at stoeger coach guns, i have one and it's a very sturdy firearm, Mine's over 15 years old and still shoots like brand new.
