No, it's a pretty risky thing as far as medical procedures go. It's way up there risk-wise.

So you need to make sure the benefits of undergoing the anesthesia outweigh the risks.

What kind are you talking about? General or local? General is when they "knock you out". That can be risky. Local is like dental shots, there is some issues that can arise, but, for the most part safe.

For what kind of procedure are you talking about? I am sure it is safe administered by a licensed person or they would not be allowed to use it.

Local anesthesia is used literally millions of times for every bad reaction it causes.

General anesthesia is more like 1,000 to 1.

yes as long as u dont eat or drink anything after midnight could cause u to throw up during surgery and could choke
