Where in the New Testament that says that the ten Commandments must be followed?
"Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters"
(1 Corinthians 7:19)
How may a Christian justify to ignore the Commandments of not eating Shrimp or Pork?
"...commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. "
(1 Timothy 4:3-5)
"There is nothing unclean [common] of itself"
(Romans 14:14)... But please read the whole section to place it in perspective for food.
How may a Christian justify to ignore the Commandments to be circumcised as he was?
"Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing."
(Galations 5:2)
"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature."
(Galatians 6:15)
"Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing...."
(1 Corinthians 7:19)
If you choose to ignore one of God's Commandments, may you also ignore the others?
No, Christians are not ignoring God's Commandments, but all the ceremonial Commandments have been fulfilled in Christ. So we continued to keep the moral commandments. The first 4 commandments of the ten is on our relationship with God, while the rest is on our relationship with one another.
What did Jesus say that specifically says?
"......but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. "
(Matthew 19:17-19)
Hope this helps

For Christians, Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses.
Christians are not held to the ceremonial parts of the Mosaic Law concerning of dietary purity and temple worship.
Christians are held to the moral law of God, some of which is expressed in the Ten Commandments.
However Jesus took the Ten Commandments to the next step summarizing them into the two Great Commandments:
+ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.
+ You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
And teaching things like
+ Everyone who looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
+ Everyone is our neighbor including our enemies.
Therefore we have to go much farther than the original recipients of the Ten Commandments ever dreamed.
With love in Christ.

you need Bible verses to justify an argument?
The Bible is not for that purpose nor is it for debating... but as 2nd Timothy 3: 16 to 17 says- All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
But okay, Jesus did say in Matthew 5:17 to 20 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
All these means that you follow the Law not because you want to be righteous (& to have honor before men) but you follow it because you are among the worst of sinners but still Jesus died for your many sins, so you follow the Law because you love Him back.
In fact Jesus gave us just 2 laws to follow (Luke 10:27)--Love God & to love your neighbor. You do not need to follow any of the other Laws, but because all those fall under the 2 laws given by Jesus, then there you have it. You follow them because you love Jesus.

enable's attempt to clean up this question in opposite, with the aid of finding the solutions to the question: "Which commandment(s) are optionally available and can be eradicated?" a million. on no account the 1st, for this might supply sanction to polytheism. Jesus on no account taught that we could produce different gods. 2. it is likewise real of the 2d commandment. Bowing right down to pictures ability having different gods. 3. Jesus spoke approximately keeping the 0.33 commandment: study Matthew 5:34 and James 5:12. 4. Jesus saved the fourth commandment (Sabbath). study Luke 4:sixteen, Mark 2:27 and evaluate it with Isaiah sixty six:22-23. 5. The 5th commandment is the muse for family participants relationships. study Ephesians 6:a million-2. 6. Jesus noted keeping the 6th commandment. study Matthew 5:21-22, and evaluate with a million John 3:15. 7. The final 4 are all needed as nicely. Jesus stated in Mark 10:19, "Thou knowest the commandments, do no longer commit adultery, do no longer kill, do no longer scouse borrow, do no longer undergo faux witness, Defraud no longer, Honour thy parents." in component of certainty, the commandments are actually not optionally available, however each and all of us has a God-given freedom of determination. In different words, you have the suitable to be incorrect! yet undesirable selections make for undesirable effects, and on an identical time as you're able to p.c. your action, the tip result won't be as much as you. keeping the commandments, all 10 of them, is the ultimate thank you to happiness and blessing. Why then are human beings so desirous to throw them out? the ten Commandments are God's regulation (no longer Moses' regulation) and are so important that God wrote them along with his very own finger into stone--two times! Moses did no longer write the ten Commandments, God wrote those Himself, and that they are designed to be everlasting and unchanging.

The 10 commandments are not listed in the new testament. However those who refuse to except Christ will be judged according to the law.We are commanded to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind,And to love our neighbor as oneself. This would cover doing the ten commandments. Christ also kept the commandment and He was our example.

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
The Law was the 10 commandments.

in the New Testament.i'm reading in NIV version.Mattew 22:34-40
The greatest commandment...Jesus replied "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" this is the first and greatest commandments. and the second is "love your neighbor as yourself" v40 all the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.
John 15:10-14 in v12 Jeus said my command is this: love each other as i have love you.Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
in the Old Testaments God gave us 10 commandments to follow.Exodus 20 but in the NT Jesus summed up to two commandments.

18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

Well, Matthew 19:17 says "If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments." But that seemingly contradicts other Bible verses, which say that salvation is through faith and not works.
