I need help deleting pictures off my digital camera.?

does anyone have a HP photosmart m415 and can tell me how to delete the pictures off the camera's memory because the camera will not let me view pictures that i have taken or delete them or can anyone tell me how to delete pictures off of a memory stick through the computer.

connect it to your computer and a new drive will appear, go into the folders until you see the pictures, then delete it as you normally would from a harddrive. Oh and keep your camera on when you plug it to your computer
