Oh, now you're asking for it!
If I would pray, I would ask that he doesn't become a martyr!

Yes,Jesus said love your enemys, because if you love only the people that already loves you; What good thing you've had done?;Even criminals love their children.
Do not judge and you will not judged.
Forgive,and you'll be fogived.

Yes,I'll pray for him,I hope he repent for what he has done and ask God to forgive him,so he can have peace.

John 8:7 When they kept on questioning Him,He straightened up and said to them, "If any of you is without sin,let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

I'm not without a sin. Honestly I hope some body pray for me too.

One more thing. To:fassiacat... The Bible do not say that; What the Bible really said in 1 John 3:15 is this:
Anyone who hates his brother is a murder, and you know that no murderer has eternal life IN HIM.
But people can have eternal life in Jesus Christ, our Lord.

GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

Hoolia is right. I'd pardon Saddam or give him life imprisonment - not for mercy but to deny him the opportunity to be a martyr.

They ought to get a rope long enough for all the families who have had their kin murdered and tortured, and let them pull on it when the time comes to open the trap door. A person who commits murder cannot have forgiveness in the flesh. 1st John 3:15

I have already prayed for Him, even though He is a terrible person and committed horrible crimes. God sent Jesus to save any that call on His name, so if He would and ask forgiveness, God will give it and it is His to desire to save all. It is the enemy that has made Saddam who he is not the One True God.

Where the hell are all the Christian responses? After reading numerous biblical inspired answers over time I thought for sure you would be bombarded with quotes, brotherly love tid- bits, and what ever the hell pastor said last week.

Temper justice with mercy. Baring any last minute reprieve he will pay the ultimate penalty which is death, not torture.
