Basically I want the story to be in a romantic theme. I want it to be about to couples who finally get together untill the boy breaks up with the girl. However, we soon learn that the girl's friend is in love with the girls ex. Is that a goos tory?

yes, but that's been done before this, so add a new twist.
what do you know about some secret part of their lives, yes now you have to think of a good secret, and it could be a part of a "bad story" or something bad that happened,
or a twist about money with that secret.
something to keep the audience coming back for more!
