Shingles comes from chicken pox.
If someone has chicken pox when they are young, it will stay with them and sometimes it comes back as Zoster(shingles) and is very painful. You use calamine lotion to help heal it more quickly. Shingles usually takes up one side of the body part it is on.
I had Shingles when I was about 12, on my back, and it is painful. It is MUCH worse in adults though, just like chicken pox. If someone has Shingles, they should not let anyone who has never had chicken pox come into contact with the area affected.
Elderly people are especially susceptible to the disease when they are ill because their immune systems are weaker than those of younger ages.

I think the vaccination is called zostavax or something like that.
Thanks for your time, hope I helped :-)

There are two types of herpes simplex virus: HSV-1 and HSV-2. Both virus types can cause sores around the mouth (herpes labialis) and on the genitals (genital herpes). Cold sores are caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV).
Cold sores sometimes called fever blisters, are groups of small blisters on the lip and around the mouth. The skin around the blisters is often red, swollen, and sore. The blisters may break open, leak a clear fluid, and then scab over after a few days. They usually heal in several days to 2 weeks.
The herpes simplex virus usually enters the body through a break in the skin around or inside the mouth. It is usually spread when a person touches a cold sore or touches infected fluid—such as from sharing eating utensils or razors, kissing an infected person, or touching that person's saliva. A parent who has a cold sore often spreads the infection to his or her child in this way. Cold sores can also be spread to other areas of the body.
Luckly there is a cure for herpes https://tr.im/9ba52

I don't know about any vaccine, but I don't trust that crap anyway...

What I do know that you can do, is use lysine topically, and ingest it, and it cuts down on the time and the pain that you have to deal with it!!!!

And that's all natural, with no side effects...
