It is fascinating to me that in none of the answers given to this question, so far, was even one example of a contradiction even offered as an example. However, this is usually the case, most people who claim contradictions in the Bible have never even read the entire Bible through, if at all.

The Bible, Latin="Biblos" (book), is actually not a single book but it is 66 different books written by over 40 different authors over a period of nearly 1,500 years (from the 15th Cent., B.C. to the 1st cent., A.D.). All of the authors, except two, were Jewish (including in the N.T.).

In fact, most all of the apparent contradictions of the Bible are easily explained by reading the whole Bible through for context. A few number or date contradictions are obvious transcription errors (remember the Bible was hand written for nearly 3,000 years before the printing press came along). All of the Biblical 'higher criticism' (having to do with historical errors) so prevalent during the 18th-19th centuries have all but disappeared because modern archeology has been the best friend to the historical veracity of the Bible.

To me, what is so amazing about the Bible is the consistency of the steady unveiling of the nature of God as well as the consistency of the struggles and blessings of those who seek to know the God of the Bible.

Read it for yourself, today!

Bible has no contradition.
But, you can find some diffrerent poits of view about the same matter. It is because its books were written by around 40 different men, under different situation and they were from different social classes.
The Bibble has no contradiction but, It completes itself from Genesis over Revelation. You'll find a great concordance.
Sometimes, people wrote in a coloquial language, other, they wrote in poetry language.
When some writers tried to reach God knowledge they tried to describe That One which is unlimited with a limited human mind.

None if you reason it through... Some events mentioned may seem unlikely or even unfair. Yet, if you can find a way to view it from a different mindset in the manner of looking at issues to be settled forever not just the here and now. I'd think the contradictions would erase themselves in time.

Burr lists 144 in his book. There is a web site which lists a considerable number, but I have not compared their list with Burr's to see how they overlap. Of course, it is not merely the internal contradictions to which one should pay attention -- it is also the errors of fact, which run into the hundreds.

None that I know of, but plenty of dichotomies.

Dichotomies are not contradictions, either. Metaphorically, they are two sides of the same coin.

None to the spiritual minded persons.

"5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
--------------------
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
--------------------
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
--------------------
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God."
Now, did you get that? I can interpret if you have difficulty.

You could make a list, but the paperwork that would generate wouldn't fit in the trunk of your car.
