It is the wish of Jesus Christ and the Apostles that the Church be one, united in faith.
In Ephesians 4:1-6, Paul writes: I, then, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another through love, striving to preserve the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace: one body and one Spirit, as you were also called to the one hope of your call; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
I haven't the slightest idea of when or how it might happen, but with God all is possible.
There are certain things that Christians can do today to help restore this unity:
+ A permanent renewal of all Christians in greater fidelity to their vocation
+ Conversion of heart as the faithful try to live holier lives according to the Gospel
+ Prayer in common, because change of heart and holiness of life, along with public and private prayer for the unity of Christians, should be regarded as the soul of the whole ecumenical movement
+ Fraternal knowledge of each other
+ Ecumenical formation of the faithful and especially of priests
+ Dialogue among theologians and meetings among Christians of the different churches and communities
+ Collaboration among Christians in various areas of service to mankind.
With love and prayers in Christ.

Would I like to see it? I rejoice whenever someone comes into full communion with the Catholic Church, so yes. Do I think it will happen in my lifetime? Anything is possible, but I highly doubt it. Actions speak louder than words, and while the A.C. talks a good game about unity, blah, blah, blah, its actions keep moving it farther and farther away.

This can not be possible without the destruction of the catholic church. A past pope called a British monarch a heretic. This can not be reversed without the catholic curch admitting that a pope was wrong. All popes must be infallible or the whole idea of catholicism will be wrong.
It will not happen.

Episcopal priests marry and have children, so I think it wouldn't be a very good idea to put them under the rule of the Catholic church, considering that whole celibacy thing they have going on. Very bad idea actually.

Yes, it would be a nice thing.
I hope it happens, but if it doesn't, I at least hope that we have good ecumenical relations.
The Anglican Church having women priests and openly gay bishops isn't going to help along those lines, though.

I'm Anglican by birth myself,I personally don't align to some of the Roman Catholic practices. ie. confessing my sins to a man instead of God.Man of God or otherwise, I don't need anybody to go before God for me, I prefer to do it my self.
Lets just imagine for a moment that you have children. Your child does something wrong, but instead of coming to tell you about it personally, and ask to be forgiven, he or she sends the neighbours kid in to plead your case. How would you feel .Wouldn't you want your child to come to you personally. I'm sure God would too.
I can't see the unification happening, however we live in strange times, nothing would surprise me. Why,How,when, and what?I'd be lying even if I tried to answer that.

Sorry, no. There is a lot I sincerely admire about the Catholic Church but it is to be frank a bit too authoritarian for my taste. Episcopalians are much more free to develop their own values, for example, in accepting the right of women to control their own bodies. I mean no offense to Catholics, I sincerely admire and respect both your Church and your beliefs, its just not for me.

Actually I would like to see Fred Phelps become Pope. I bet he would put an end to priests molesting choir boys.

I'd like to see religion abolished completely since all it seems to do is cause war and strife.
