How could you be sure it was not just your brain making you think you had a soul?

the best evidence of this i would say is out of body experiences and near death experiences
Dr Raymond Moody has done great research into this and i would highly reccomend reading some of his material xx

I don't think there's a blood test or a quiz or a survey you can take to know for sure if you have a soul. In the movie "Defending Your Life" there is a PAST LIVES PAVILION where you go into a booth, put your hand on a censor plate and it shows you a video of your past lives. That would be proof of a soul. But, other than that you're S.O.L. =]]

It’s been proven that it’s not our brains that make us think that we have a soul because without a soul we couldn’t think, beyond a very limited point, even if we had a brain.

If you do research on how the brain functions it will become clear that there is no observer. There is no difference between mind and body, no soul in control. We are simply machines.
If there is a soul, it isn't a ghostly apparition, it's the energy that sustains us in life, and is returned to the earth when we die.

.I witnessed a triple murder in 1998...I knew all 3. I held one in my arms and looked deep into his eyes....I saw emptiness in his self. His body was there..but not HIS-SELF...
