Oh please, a white man would have to kill an entire family in order to get the same sentence as a black or hispanic guy caught with 2 rocks of cocaine. This is America and although the faces are changing, when it comes to law enforcement, whites rule. Most of the time, a white cop will let a white go free for carrying or using drugs, that's the real reason for the disparity in numbers of people on lockdown. Its not that blacks and hispanic commit more crime, but blacks and hispanics WILL go to jail for it.
Also...white men get the option of joining the military instead of going to prison, and this is a known fact.
Most white prisoners are hardcore criminals or mentally ill. A white guy that "makes a mistake" (first offene or non violent crime) is either let go, given probation, told to enlist in the military or given house arrest.

What on earth are you talking about? Are you looking for some kind of equality among prisoners?
"Sorry Mr. Smith, we caught the guy who robbed your house, but we can't arrest him, he's white, we need to arrest 3 blacks and a Hispanic first."

I know that there are unfair sentences in our justice system....but come on!!! Some people have repeated offense and that is why sentencing for silly things seem to be stretched out longer than other sentences. If you are so worried about it...change the laws!!!

Possibly due to the whites do not have nearly as many organizations as those of color do to help them "escape" their sentenceing. If the whites had all the protection those with color do you guys/ladies would be "EQUAL" MY GOD EQUAL_______that will never happen for you white people. It is about time the law is the law no matter what skin color and NO FAVORITISM IS SHOWN.
