Dogs have sexual intercourse just as humans - mammals too - do. The only significant difference between dog and human conception is dog ova are released prematurely, and when they become mature, sperm will penetrate them NOT in the ovarian area or uterus, but outside of it. The embryo will then travel to the uterus to become a fetus.
Canine pregnancies also last only about 64 days.

If you have a dog, then you are supposed to know but here it goes; when the female (dam) goes into heat she sends out a scent that attracts male dogs, the males get arroused and mount them sticking their penuses into the hole just under the tale of the dam. Then he will proceed to do the deed, but do not attempt to seperate them as at times during this process they sometimes get stuck together and they only way for them to get unstuck from each other is for his little penus to shrink in size and then he can extract it from her. A lot like humans.
