I am craving some mexican wedding cake cookies. and the recipe call for butter, i dont have no butter at the moment, and cant get to the store, can i use butter crisco instead?

It's possible, but you will loose some of the taste.

If you don't have butter/margarine/vegetable spread then use Crisco.

they would be greasy. one of the very main ingredients in the cookies is the butter ( the butter crisco is for baking to blend in not be the main ingredients real butter works the best

you can definetly use butter flavored crisco as a substitue for regular butter......i use it in all my baked goods!!!!
now im craving some mexican wedding cakes!!!!!
