If we lose in Iraq, it's because the terrorists did the same thing here the Communists did in Vietnam.
They got a few weak-kneed liberals to start opposing the war and simply waited until our collective will was weakened by the internal debate.
No great democracy has fallen by military defeat, but rather in small steps; one politically correct piece of freedom is given up at a time, until we find outselves in an oppressive dictatotship.
Those who would argue, it's for the children's protection... any reasonable person would agree... are really saying, agree or shut-up, we'll bury you...
They have pretty much outlawed smoking, now they are going after our food; if you oppose their agenda, you must be unreasonable...
Political correctness will destroy us before any external enemy could.

Anytime you try to take over a country overseas, you are probably going to lose. Guerrilla fighting is just too difficult to combat. Ask the Brits. They lost a little war a couple hundred years ago to a bunch of ragtag, guerilla fighters called Americans.

I think you Republicans started it and it is pretty clear it has been total failure due to the incompetency of your commander in chief!
You got all the money you wanted, you got all the troops you asked for!
How many years should we continue making a millionaire off of Iraq money every 25 American soldiers death, or once a week?
You have had longer than it took us to fight World War II! Your incompetency is glaring! But then it is being run by a president who went AWOL during Vietnam!

I am starting to believe that war is a business, someone is turning a profit from all this. Sad part is it is taking human life in the process. But I guess as long as they have some place to go each week to be forgiven........

We've already won the war. Now we are trying to remove our troops without causing a collapse of their government.

You answered your own question; absolutely yes. The Vietnam protesters are now in charge. Their biggest win was surrendering to Vietnam. They would love to rekindle that old glory and lose Iraq.
