in your heart the atonement (His shed blood) for your sins and resurrection?

God looks at the heart and if it is honest faith in God.

Peter addressing "Meeting of the Jerusalem council" said in Acts 15:11, "No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they (The Gentiles) are". It is through the grace of Jesus Christ we are saved, not through what we do! I can call myself a christian if I sincerely and honestly believe that and comply with Matthew 22: 37-40.

Some people call themselves Christians, and have never been saved in anyway. These people are not Christians, and there for should not call themselves Christians. However you don't have to go to a church, and talk to the preacher to be saved. Some people do this in private, or accept Jesus as their savior in their own way. Further more I will assume your saying this because of the statistic that only about 30% of Christians go to church. You don't have to go to church to be saved, or worship God.

if you read your bible carefully you will find that doing so is not the only means of salvation and other churches express and practice the teachings of the bible differently. why don't you receive the Eucharist as Jesus commanded? why are you judging other Christians and telling them they aren't christian because they are not following how you perceive christianity to be?there are many things in the bible i am sure you do not follow because of what a man(your pastor) has decided isn't necessary.

How do you know what people have or have not done?
Everyone has their own views of what makes a Christian. All the talk in the world cant make you a good person.

The name "Christian" is reserved for followers of Christ. Unfortunately many who call themselves "Christian" believe in Jesus Christ of Nazareth yet they follow man made religious rules. Perhaps Christians should refer to themselves as followers of Christ instead, then maybe it will begin to take effect in their lives...the true meaning of being Christian...following the standard Jesus has set.

For some, the label Christian (or Jewish or Catholic or Agnostic) is just loosely applied to someone if they have a background (my Granny was Catholic) or espouse some of the values.

I'm a carnal Christian, which means my spirit is stronger then my flesh. On the other hand, I personally believe no one today have attained the "born-again" level--not even you.

i call myself a christian ,and yes he is my saviour
i cant call him god becuause he is gods son
the commandments state thy shall have no god befor god

that to me ,
even as a christian expecting jesus to save me i must say that to put gods son even before the him god [christs and our father is [for me ] breaking that command writen prior to jesus flesh and blood birth
jesus thankfully was and is all man,son of god
he said that you see me do //you will do greater
why because jesus was born of the flesh as we all are.

jesus realised that all of men can do and will realise
he proved we all must die to and of the flesh
and withing 3 days build a new temple
a new eternal body
born again
via the baptism of the fires of death.
jesus did die in the flesh
he really did die for you
but only to proove he cant die of spirit
nor can we ,jesus came to explain about god and man,
why does man want him the messenger and son of god to be god as well
that you see me do
YOU WILL DO GREATER
greater than god?
or greater than the master of men
the one who revealed our own god within.
our own hearts
