A beating by a mentally handicapped man? What should we do?

I recently watched a film in which a mentally challenged person brutally beat a normal man. This raises two points 1) Why don't we keep all mentally challenged people in hospital/jail rather then let them roam free where they can rule the night and attack innocent civilians? and 2) Seeing the beating on TV caused me horrible mental anguish, do you think I can sue the tv channel that showed me that?

what the hell does this have to do with singles and dating???? anywayz no you can't sue the tv company because YOU chose to watch the show and you could have changed the channel and that is improbable for a mentally hadicapped person to beat up a normal person also it is unfair and inumane to lock people up just becuase they are not "normal" or "capable" in societies view. This only applies to when they are not causing harm to society though.

I WORK WITH MENTALLY DISABLED ADULTS. THEY ARE VERY SWEET AND GIVING PEOPLE. FOR SOME OF US WE COULD STAND TO LEARN ALOT FROM THEM. YES THEY DO SOMETIMES HAVE TEMPERS, BUT THAT IS LIFE UNLIKE US, THEY DONT KNOW THEIR OWN STRENGTH AND THEY KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THEIR ANGER. THE PLACE THAT I WORK AT, WE WORK WITH THEM HOW TO CONTROL THEIR TEMPERS AND WORK WITH THEM ON BECOMING MODEL CITIZENS. I LOVE MY JOB AND THE PEOPLE I WORK WITH SURE COULD TEACH YOU A THING OR TWO
