i'm looking to get a new hair style for this new year... anyone out there has any great ideas... ? my hair is a light brown with golden blonde highlights, it's medium length with layers.... but i'm just so tired of this look... my hair is screaming for a makeover....

I just got my hair chopped short. I guess it's the new thing. I have the side swept bang across the forehead, and it's parted not through the middle but off to the right. I love the transition. My hair is very fine, and now it looks much fuller, and it is the same color as yours, maybe a bit blonder.

OK-
A shoulderlength A-line would look really cute, But make sure the a-line is drastic/long in the front and about 4inches shorter in the back!!
An A line is long in the front and gradually goes shorter in the back.......CUTE!!.........ADD some highlights even!!
OR-
You can go a real short A-line with the back that goes up about 4 inches above your bottom hair line and the front that goes to about your jawbone. Leave the back short stuff about an inch long and spike it with your fingers
OR-
Get some bonder highlifgts and also darker highlights (maybe add a little red) and take off a few inches of the bottom and add drastic layers
If you go to a trendy hair salon they will help too!!

why don't you dye it honey blond with lighter highlights
i've actually got an appointment to do it and I have light brown hair so I'd probably look good on you
you could try getting it cut shorter or getting side bangs put in
or you could straighten it like a Japanese straightening or get it relaxed or you could get waves or curls
look online for different hairstyles that you like

Get it cut shorter, right above the shoulders with a side-swept bang. It will look soo cute!

what about having honey colors for ur hair. go for it... and instead of layers... make them straight... and have a lots of kohl in your eyes... it will dramatically change the overlall u. u will enjoy it too.

go with the first answer my cousin has it like that and it is sooooo cute just adorable and its still long enough to put in a ponytail if you want to.

if i were you I'd go short if you have straight hair a little below your chin line if its curl you could go real short with longer bangs
