I am 13 soon to be 14 and there is a girl who is a year older than me. I am abou to ask her out is this okay or should I look for some one my age. P.S We are really good friends

Go ahead and ask her out. If she says no it's not a loss because you were not going with her to begin with. If she says yes then you get the date. Just make her comfortable when you ask so you still remain friends. A year is not a big deal.

Its only a year difference. In a few years you won't think that age matters as much. Go ahead and ask her. In all reality, you should be focusing more on school than women right now. They'll just get you into trouble by getting pregnant. Then you'll end up having to work some dead end job to support your kid and you won't be able to go to college and get an education. Plan ahead buddy!!

maybe you should stay friends for a while. but ask your self wich is better having a good friend or a strange awkwardness of breaking up after being boyfriend and girlfriend ?

One year older at your age isn't too bad. Go for it- if she says no... understand and continue to be her friend. (Sounds like you guys get along).
