My people are dying and I have no more Phoenix Downs! How can I revive them right before I fight the boss? Help!

I'm at the level with the dwarfs. And in FF III you can't buy Phoenix Downs, just so you know.

You'll need to work on building levels. What part of the game are you in? I ran out of phoneix downs right before my battle with Djinn and lost all but one party member. Just level up more and backtrack to weaker enemies. Stock up on potions and stay in one area, raising levels and earning gil until you can buy the best equitment and stock up well on items. Also don't forget to buy spells, enemies have certain immunites like ice for djinn. Talk to you party using the bottom right button to learn more if you need help.

I have yet to play FF3 for the DS, but if it's like other FF games from the SNES era, then buy purchasing a tent or a cottage from a store, you can revive in the dungeon near the boss. Also, battle low-level monsters to get some Gil. Then buy more Phoenix downs.
PS. Check website for info about the boss that you're stuck on. There might be specific way to beat it.

if you ´re having difficulty with a boss, i would suggest taking a step back to build your characters and earn more gil so you can buy more pheonix downs. RPG´s are all about time building characters afterall.
